Timeon Jarrett's practice specialises in painting and drawing, with an expansion into sculpture and printmaking. Pushing himself out of his comfort zone, he began developing ideas with sculptures.

The sculptures he produces are made from found materials discarded on the streets. Jarrett takes these items and constructs them into an assemblage of sculptures that reflect our deeper understanding of everyday surroundings. As well as how we manage them responsibly, so as not to impact the natural environment, whilst giving the materials a new life and forms.

Ceramics are another form of sculpture, which he makes to capture the textures and patterns within the found materials, adding structure and new concepts to the sculptures he produces. To expand his art skillset, he explores different techniques that can be used in later creations.

The paintings respond to Jarrett's sculptures by simplifying them into forms of abstract expressionism, using colours and shapes from each sculpture to represent a better understanding within the artworks. Through using mixed media such as acrylic paints, Posca pens, oil pastels, and other media, to encapsulate colour and shape.

Jarrett uses a combination of flexographic prints and photo collages, taken from one of Jarrett's sculptures. He places them into different positions to form a type of art experiment in movements on fabrics.

Being able to sculpt and print creates more opportunities to expand into multiple art areas. Experimenting with colour and imagery to form collages, expresses concepts such as expressionism, to change ideas and thoughts.
